Our vision
Exercise is healthy. Sport clears your head and burns calories. You get to know people and have fun, etc. It is the job of the municipality to provide enough sports facilities and to ensure that there is a sufficiently diverse range so that every citizen of Tervuren finds something to their liking.
Our three priorities
- After the new field at Diependal is completed, a new building replacing the current Diependal and Nettenberg buildings could be built on the field site. This investment will take place only after 2030, but should be prepared this legislature. Current users will still be able to use the existing and future fields around Tervuren.
- The renovation of the sports hall in Vossem is also becoming urgent. We are preparing for major investment alongside renovation of the school.
- The pool has been closed often in recent years due to technical problems – due to age. We are not advocating renovation but want to integrate it into the new building to replace Diependal/Nettenberg. The pool should be suited to Tervuren and need not be 25m. Its opening hours could then be extended to weekends.
